The Bates Partnership was formed in 1976 to fulfil the needs of clients who require assessment, or implementation of dredging works, or associated coastal engineering, but lack the necessary expertise and resources in house. Since then the Partnership has grown to become one of the leading international dredging consultancies. The Bates Partnership specialises in all aspects of dredging works and has a long established and diverse client base, including:

As an industry leader in dredging engineering services, The Bates Partnership is known for our dependability and responsiveness to client needs. Our commitment to providing timely, expert and economical solutions for our clients is the foundation of our success. Whilst more than 70% of workload is traditionally in Northern Europe, the remainder of projects have been completed internationally in more than 30 countries worldwide. The projects we have completed range from basic advice to contracts worth millions of pounds but in all cases we strive to ensure the client receives the best value for money and the best advice.
